Day 6 of 7: Setting Intentions

A few weeks ago, I went to the Howard County Arts Council with the Deputy Director, who happens to be my daughter, Mary. In the gallery, there is an exhibit by students, grades 6–12, called, Re-imagining Boundaries: Persevering in the Time of Covid. I had not been to a live art gallery in over a year and found myself drinking in the art like a woman who had been dying of thirst in the desert. As I stood in front of each piece, I took a deep breath, inhaling the colors, textures and expression. I fell in love with the art, the artist and myself.
