Your Body’s Many Cries for Water
Chronic cellular dehydration painfully and prematurely kills. Its initial outward manifestations have until now been labeled as diseases of unknown origin. ~F. Batmanghelidj
Chronic dehydration is the root cause of most major diseases. ~F. Batmanghelidj
There are things I know about myself that I have accepted as true without asking questions and exploring the why. One of them is my aversion or avoidance to drinking water or liquids in general. In flip the script on water, I’m pausing to reflect on this.
When I am unconscious about drinking water, I probably drink about 8 oz of water per day. I start my day with a mixture of decaf and caffeinated coffee. Occasionally, I will add an herbal tea at night. I do not drink soda or fruit juice. I eat soup and vegetable broth several times a week and I eat vegetables every day. Occasionally fruit. I know that some of my hydration is coming from food and that coffee is a diuretic that can cause dehydration.
Why don’t I drink water?
· My body doesn’t signal thirst very often or I misread the signals and eat food instead.
