Water Consciousness
“In physics, a phase transition is when a living system moves between order and chaos. For example, water freezing to ice or evaporating to steam goes through phase transitions, its molecules in chaos before they settle into their new form. While transitioning between steam, water, and ice, the molecules are in an in-between phase, a place of possibility where creativity and change can happen. This morning, when I finished drinking a cup of coffee with coconut creamer, an image appeared on the bottom of the cup. It looked like something had been etched. At first, I thought it was a figure 8 or an infinity symbol. Looking closer I saw an hourglass with a round bottom and flat top.
I got chills!
While I was drinking my coffee, I had been figuring out details of tasks that I wanted to complete today by creating a schedule with segments of time. It’s a game I play with myself when I want to move forward with reading, writing, and sending emails. By segmenting what I want to read in a book that I am studying or using a timer for 5, 15, 30-minute segments, I schedule goals and breaks. While I was…
