Practices for Flip the Script on Aging

“Sit quietly for a moment, breathe deeply, and draw into your body and soul a sense of peaceful gratitude. Allow your mind to float back over the ages you have grown through and, with gratitude, bless them for the joy experience, the sorrow weathered, and the wisdom gathered. Now invite picture or scene of who you will be at older ages to come into your mind’s eye. Bless this woman as she bridges age to age. Encourage her to flower into the unique and beautiful bloom she is meant to be. Tap into her native strength as she begins to wilt physically. Treasure her essence, which is an eternal fragrance. In your journal or a word document:

1. Write at the top of the page a decade of your life.

2. Use a different page for each decade.

3. Make a list of what you remember as accomplishments, challenges, and lessons.

4. Write a list of anything you would like to clear, clean-up, complete, or release from that decade.

5. Choose one or two things that you feel would support you to focus on and clear…
