You were born with power in your body. You have a GPS tracking system to receive information from feelings and sensations. You can learn to tune into your body messages and bypass things that are not true for you. You can’t escape cultural messages, conditioning and normalization but you can tune in to what your body is trying to tell you. Personal power involves reclaiming the power in your body.
Megumi Igarashi, who goes by Rokudenashiko, is a Japanese sculptor and manga artist who has created art featuring vaginas and vulvas. Her first creation, from the mold of her vulva, was meant to be a playful expression created out of curiosity. She was arrested in July 2014 for distributing 3D data of her vulva to contributors of her crowdsource campaign. She shared the 3D data so her contributors could make one for themselves and they were delighted!
