One of the places I look for evidence that the feminine is rising is in pop culture and the arts. Through creative, innovative expression, pop culture reflects life back to us. People on award shows stimulate conversation and reveal topics that demonstrate what we value and what is amiss. Feelings, social issues, and collaboration paint a picture of the world we are living in.
Two examples from the Grammy’s in 2017 and 2020.
In 2017, Beyonce’s album Lemonade was nominated for multiple awards including nine Grammy nominations winning Best Urban Contemporary and Best Music Video. She did not win Album of the Year and people were shocked because of the genius of the album.
