Day Sixteen: Preparation

“I want you to settle in and think about something. In a very real sense, we’ve been prepared for this time. If we look back over the last few years, think about the spiritual journey we’ve been on. We’ve been braced for something… something to happen. If we think about the conversation we’ve been having, we could feel something in the air. Something was changing in our lives, and now that ‘something’ has happened.” ~Caroline Myss

(Day 16 of 30 days of writing. All of the 30 days are posted on Medium or go to this link and purchase the entire e-book for 99 cents. The Sacred Feminine: Tuning into Your Personal Power. 30 days of Writing and Reflecting)

In the quote, Caroline Myss refers to preparation. Sometimes preparation is obvious. Preparing for a storm is one example that comes to mind. If you are someone who lives on the Outer Banks of North Carolina or the flat, fertile plains of Oklahoma, you know that at some point, you will be preparing your home for a hurricane or tornado. That might involve going to the grocery store for gallons of water and food staples, bringing outdoor furniture into the house, boarding up windows and doors, gathering bedding and battery powered lanterns to move into the basement. Then, all you do is wait.
